Fixed price services are for simple general IT repairs where the hardware is brought to our Craigavon office within the CIDO Innovation centre and is aimed at helping out start-ups and new businesses with low cost professional repairs and good business and IT advice where required.

Computer Health Check

A computer health check entails running a series of checks that will improve start-up speed and operational performance of a computer or laptop and has a fixed cost of £20.

The following checks will be implemented:

Removal of unwanted programs including malware
Check for software problems including multiple anti-virus programs
Remove unnecessary start-up items
Check for sufficient disk storage space
Check for driver conflicts
Run anti-virus scan

Full Computer Backup and Restore

When a computer has been infected by a virus or the operating system is simply too badly corrupted to be restored by a health check, then an operating system restore is required. We will identify the data and software in use and backup to local storage before doing a factory reset or clean format and install before restoring all data and software.
A full computer backup and restore will cost just £40.

The following steps will be carried out:

Backup data in Documents folder
Backup data in Pictures folder
Backup data in Music folder
Backup data in Downloads folder
Backup data in Favourites folder
Backup data in Outlook data folder
Backup data in Outlook nicknames file
Backup any drivers data available
Factory restore option if available
Format and Reinstall Operating System
Restore data in original folders
Restore email settings and data
Install software
